Balinakill Country House is just spectacular. It has more than what you had ever bargained for in a wedding venue. Sensitively and beautifully restored, it opened up its doors in 2010 for the celebration of weddings which is something we must be eternally grateful for. An icon of Victorian architecture with sublime features that leave you entranced, you will find that the house itself is not even the half of it. This is after all the rugged West coast of Scotland and the spectacular Kintyre Peninsula.

Facilities and capacity

With polished oak lounges and stairway, grand fireplaces and ornate masonry and plasterwork, Balinakill Country House truly is a timepiece from an elegant past brought into the comforts of the future. The house itself is ideal for wedding groups of up to 50 people. For bigger celebrations you have the marquee option which connects to the house conservatory.

Services offered

Ann & Ian Darby will be delighted to welcome you into their stately home. They will manage everything with pride and introduce you to their talented, experienced and professional team for whom nothing is too much bother. Combine this with the lush grounds and the wildness of Balinakill's surroundings and you truly have a wedding venue of fairy-tale proportions.

We got married at Balinakill at the beginning of May 2012. Ann and her team were very helpful with everything from recommending caterers to helping move furniture! It made organising our big day less ... Read more stressful and more enjoyable for us. The house and grounds are beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Our families stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful time with plenty of room for everyone and great grounds for the kids to explore. We would highly recommend Balinakill as a wedding venue.
